Despite the puppet awards that circulate online, which have the sole intent of creating noise like a chain letter, even if on the positive side they have links that allow you to find out about other blogs, I prefer to reward blogs in my own way which I follow. I have already talked about foreign blogs on writing , today I will instead talk about Italian blogs on writing . I won't draw up a list of names, which makes the reader understand almost nothing, but I will explain what that blog is about, how it talks about it and why I follow it.
Ferruccio Gianola : I found this blog because Ferruccio asked me to contact me on Facebook some time ago, even though I thought about it for a few days before accepting his request. A contact that comes to you from a death viper leaves you a little suspicious, but on his profile there was the link to this prolific blog, where Ferruccio writes every day approaching Special Data writing in a personal and simple way. I have never liked "gurus", those who pass judgment and place themselves a few steps higher than others. Well, Ferruccio is the exact opposite and his blog has also given me inspiration to write some articles. The Laura who writes : it is the blog, the second to be honest, of the editor Laura Platamone .
If in the first you published short stories, here you write about what concerns your profession. Laura talks to us about books and writing, but from the editor's side. With simple and clear words, Laura explains to us how to present a manuscript, how to put together a story, how to improve as writers. Last February I entered her competition to win an evaluation form. It was enough to subscribe to her newsletter (to the feeds, actually) and send her a story. I was thus able to see, for the first time, how an editor works and what problems my story had. The blog on the edge of the world : a name, a program. Alessandro Girola , a prolific writer with a site full of ebooks to download, has a fixation for apocalyptic and uchronic literature.
